Development, Testing and Research:

The Validata workshop and laboratory are equipped with a wide range of electrical and mechanical test equipment and machinery that's ideally suited for prototyping, proof-of-concept testing and development of laboratory tools, test rigs and specialised machinery. We provide a rapid and cost effective research facility for companies who want to investigate the feasibility of new products and processes. We also act as a source of bespoke / one off special purpose test equipment used by our client’s in the course of their own R&D activities.

Contract R&D Labour:

A Validata engineer provides temporary additional on-site support to your own R&D team. Hire a graduate mechanical engineer with many years experience acquired from running and participating in upstream oil E&P, aerospace and MoD R&D projects. One engineer provides the multi-discipline experience required in a dynamic engineering laboratory environment. Design and analysis skills encompass aero, fluid and thermo-dynamics, combustion, instrumentation, data logging and general electro-mechanical design. Many years of hands-on practical experience also makes the engineer fully functional as a workshop / laboratory technician with capabilities encompassing rig manufacture and assembly, component machining, modification work and testing operations. Assistance can be provided for a single short duration event or on a longer, regular basis up to 40+ hrs per week.

Component Manufacture:

Our manufacturing processes principally support our rig and machine building operations, however we have an extensive range of contacts for additional machining, fabrication and material processing. These contact’s enable us to offer a general contract manufacturing service (with assembly if it's required) working from our client's drawings. Components and assemblies can be supplied, ranging in size from small hand held assemblies such as boiler and aerospace fuel injectors through to large fabricated structures up to seven meters tall used in various processing industries and which can weigh up to ten tonnes.
